Ran into this today, original callback due to loose wire for light curtain in rear operator. I think he's right it's an MOVFR2. The car I was on was an older movfr on front and rear. The rear door would not talk to two seperate known good DRV-0009N gal parameter units. But the tool did work and change parameters on the front operator. These operators also started acting whacky, constantly unable to close the doors flashing the stall force LED. The rear doing that is what prompted me to go get my parameter unit. The tool never could connect to the rear. So tried the front. AFTER putting the tool on the front it started the same stall force reopening as the rear. Problem was they were drawing under an amp amd stall setting is 1.6 amps so definitely no reason for the stall force to be reopening them. Stopped, and walked outside for a few minutes. Came back in and asked Jesus to help me on this one and I'd be darned the things came back on and worked right.
I think its the older drives in the older MOVFR2s that are faulty here. Theyre still working but definitely are not right. In my case I told my customer it's running but if it acts up like that again we're going to quote replacing the drives and main boards in both operators.
