Can anyone explain why there is a high performance and standard jumper on this door board? When i have it on high performance the door stalls 2/3’s of the way in the open position only but on standard the door opens no problem.

As I understood it, high performance was used when there were heavy hoistway doors. If your operator is a high-performance operator, the belt and sheave configuration will look different than the standard MAC operator. Also if you have a high-performance operator you will have 2 wired pairs on terminal TB3. If you only have one pair of wires at TB3 you have a standard MAC operator and it was adjusted accordingly.

Definitely have 4 wires going into TB3, so should be set to high performance, but not strong enough to open the doors all the way, standard works though.

If you want to mess with it try turning up the OF pot. Also, you can remove the J3 jumper and see if there is better operation. These operators have an internal timer that will stop the motor if the doors do not get fully open in 15 seconds. That said when I was a green mechanic I was told by a foreman on the job, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Tried the of but only had a little response but when i switched it over to standard and tried opening the doors i thought they were going to fly off the track they were moving so fast.
