At least after the Vantage buyout, GAL began making more safer/modern door operators like the MONXT. I wish they would discontinue those old-style harmonic ones. All other companies have stopped making them. Most other countries, except Canada, have outlawed their use on standard applications. They are just too outdated and don't have all the safety features the European-style ones have. If you want to learn more about why harmonic door operators are bad.
