Honestly, they fill a niche. But unless there's a reason you can't drill, you'll probably be better off with a regular in ground hydro. Then you don't need any roped (way more labor and equipment, you now add safeties and 5 year testing) and you don't have to deal with telescopic jacks to have to eventually rebuild if you went that route. The in grounds can do any capacity or rise with no equipment drawbacks




Just to note, I was a mechanic installing all the canton roped hydros I did. If I was the boss I probably would've installed ingrounds.
