I have a couple questions here. Had an older 561 CPU fail so got a new one with 9.5.9 software and an ADON3. Put in all parameters and did an ADON learn but couldn’t get a shaft setup because have no car comm and no 71S from the CCBN. I did a 5-7-1 and it took over 1-1/2 hours. Has anyone ever seen this before? Starts at 01000 with the last 0 flashing then super slowly counts up by 1000 until finally got to 39000 and completed. Still have no car comm and I’m told I need a new CCBN to be compatible. I have to keep this service car running though so put the old CPU and ADON back in and did a 5-7-1. It’s going about half the speed as the first time. Should this even work going back after doing the 5-7-1 with the newer software? I’m sure this is going to take 3 hours this time. Is something wrong? I know Kone guys never do 5-7-2s but our tech support wanted me to do a 5-7-2 then 2 x 5-7-1s before saying for sure I need the new CCBN but that’ll take like 5 hours.

That shouldn't take such a time unless one or more component has issue.

Starting from CCBN is a good idea.

Also, remember you can change NVRam of CPU with old one. In that case all your parameter and Lon download will revile.

Not to the new model CPU. I figured it out this morning though, I had swapped XM13 and XH12 plugs when installing the CPU.
