No power on doors DTC Fault think doors need reset have blue tool but can't connect initially connects but then goes to all Z's car runs on inspect but the when goes back to normal still no power on doors DTC comes up and nudging buzzer,can't reset from controller think it has to be top of car not sure TIA

Also looking for blue tool wright up if anyone has it thanks

Door time close protection.. Check for mechanical bind, bearings, crack in cam, bad contacts etc simply removing power and restoring will reset this

So update found out this door operator is a black belt closed loop operator from what I'm hearing is you need the older Otis tool to reset door operator my managers on a hunt for this black tool

Apparently not according to the print it's a black belt open loop operator

The black Otis tool doesn't do as much as the blue. The blue is an adjusters tool and the black was what they gave some of the service guys here so they couldn't change to many parameters. Also if you're getting DTC and or dto faults check for instructions first then check the motor. You can take the plastic part off and then pop the belt off so you can move the doors freely by themselves then spin the motor by hand to see if you have any noise or binding.

Shouldn't matter whether its a blue or black tool on a black belt operator. If its not communicating to the tool, and you've verified the power to the operator then likely the door motor controller is bad. i've got a handful of blackbelts on units and support including replacement parts are hard to come by. we've had to have a couple move to the glide operator.
