Shouldn't matter whether its a blue or black tool on a black belt operator. If its not communicating to the tool, and you've verified the power to the operator then likely the door motor controller is bad. i've got a handful of blackbelts on units and support including replacement parts are hard to come by. we've had to have a couple move to the glide operator.
