Dover DMC1 hit by lightning. Replaced CLC board, selector boards, and both door operator boards (front and rear EDR2) boards. Only have access to the world tool. Hoistway scan works but reads a saved value of “0” after the learn. When attempting to learn the doors it will read “0” for “open limit to close limit” and also have no saved value of course. Replaced the world tool and still the same issue.
We were able to get it running temporarily with the doors opening virtually on inspection, just with the speed bumped up and adjustments redone. Going to schedule a day to call World but they’re notorious about not responding in a reasonable timeframe.
I know the floor table saves are finicky. I’ve tried doing it a hundred different ways. Starting below the BDL, running it down an inch before saving. Everything I can think of for it to save the table.

For the floor table, clear the faults, start from the buffer, bump down off the limit afterwards, then save. If there are any faults they need to be addressed. Make sure the floor validation parameters are set for the doors to open on auto so you can complete a door scan.

It won't work if adjustment 52 and 56 are incorrect.

A couple things I know of with the world tool is on some versions of DMC software you have to do a double save of the hoistway scan for it to take effect. In other words after you run the car from the bottom to the top and the car stops you repeat the scan process on the tool but never moving the car from the top of the hatch. Also when you go back and check the pulse count after a scan "BLD to landing 1" value must be 4098 or higher. If not scan will not save. If you don't get a good HW scan you can't move on to the doors.

Agreed World has gotten REALLY bad about responding when you need help with their product. Chris seems to be the best with the DMC's but he's not in the office much apparently.
