Anyone ever had an issue with this one... "Cartop Insp Node B Can Comm is offline / Cartop Insp Node A/B Data Mismatch". Long and the short, I'm taking this call for this guy who was having issues with this and after finally putting my eyes on it, can't say I've seen this on from a TAC 32. I checked misc. or potential issues via the cartop inspection wires, inspection button itself, wiring, ohm'd out particular channels (on the cwil itself, pi in the controller, etc... and all ohm out to 60 ohms). Car will not run on inspection. IMS I/O's are showing INCT and INCTM on, which again why I went straight to the Cartop / Inspection Station, but everything again button wise ohm'd out, wires tight, etc..
The thing that may be throwing me off too, is the CWIL seems good. I say "seems" loosely, but selector is visible, buttons light (of course don't stay high or lite, but light upon a demand), door operator works, voltage present... I checked all pico fuses... IOD board was swapped by the previous Mechanic and same issue. SP stays red on either board.
I do have a spare CWIL, was thinking of swapping, but I more so the "troubleshooting figure it out first before swapping a board and leaving guy." At least that way, I can understand it. As I said previously when I had other TKE issues, I'm not a TKE guy, so this is more so a learning thing for me. I've seen the Cartop invalid fault before and figured that out, but this one has me a bit puzzled.
