Getting a 1085 fault. Tried multiple TECCR and always fail my TECF on hn1 the button board and HNB have been replaced I’m reading 60ohms between HC1L and HC1H. HC1L reads 2.4-2.5vdc and HC1H reads 2.5-2.6vdc. I have no usb on this job to download software I can get my hands on a generic. I guess I’m asking if I should bite the bullet and go with a CPUA board or if someone can think of something I missed? Any help is appreciated.

I guess a little back story building had power issues we were blowing the pico fuse on the 1st floor HNB that was fixed with the new button board. Hall board was replaced cause I still had no hall call with the new button board and could not successfully run a TECF but even with the new HNB I’m encountering the same issue.

Do you know if it’s wired top/down or bottom up. You can try a TECB to toggle the teach direction. See if that helps. You can get generic out of another TAC32 controller.

It’s wired top down the top hall call will learn and start working after the TECF just the bottom landing that fails

When you do a DHNF does it show the version number of that HN card?
Make sure the teach wire is getting from the last HN that teaches to the one that doesn’t.

I’ll check that tomorrow. Just seems weird that it wouldn’t be as it was working fine before the building power issue so honestly that didn’t even cross my mind

It’s only a 2 stop so just the 2 HNB and top works fine after clearing and running TECC even though TECF fails at hn1. The second call will come back and work fine

The teach wire is only used to teach so it could be cut or come loose and everything works fine. Don’t find out until you try to do a new teach. On large jobs it’s best not to throw around the TECCR so freely and make sure a teach will go through before clearing the config. You can plug the board into the controller directly if you make a little harness and teach just that HN. I’d have to look up how to do it though.

Good to know. Didn’t think about doing it directly from controller either way good couple things to try before I grab generic programing and go that route. Thanks for the replies!

Turns out the HNB replacement we got was bad. Got a new HNB board and was able to run a TECF and TECC without issue to get car back in service thanks again for all the input!
