elev8, yep 1st thing you learn is a swap and go but you do have to remember if you can damage the good part also. on an aus brand lift we used to run an unique inverter to drive the lift and i swapped it out for a good 1 from another lift and boom i blew that 1 up too! i should have checked the load 1st as it was shorted.
