Hi Guys, having an issue with this Schindler MPH2. Everytime we cylcle the power we lose the position indicator programming, it defaults back to 1,2,3,4,etc.,instead of B,L,2,3,4,etc.

We've replaced the yellow battery on the MHC board with no results.

Anyone have an idea?

The MHC has a Jumper ABC
the Jumper musbe in AB position all the Time

Thanks NOTIME, the jumper in question on the MHC board is identified as J18 and was in the BC position. I switched it to AB and cycled the power for a test.

To my surprise the position indicator programming was not lost.

Problem solved.

The jumper must not be in AB all the time. When you replace a MHC board, you fire it up in the BC position then when you get the car on auto you move it to the AB and leave it there. So, when a power cycle happens in the BC, everything clears back to default.

When you lose the PI programming how do you set it back to "B, 1, etc.."?

HHT tool, prof, f3, f1 to change character and f3 to save, then hit enter to change right hand character etc.
