We are updating a tow car group from 16 bit to 32bit processors and IOC board. We completed the first car but as it goes on to the DOL it generates 2007 faults. Fills fault buffer with 2007 faults but continues to run. The 2nd car runs great on Door Disconnect but it generates to 2007 faults as well, but then goes down CKRSHUTDOW about every 3rd run. HELP PLEASE!!

Why would one want to do this upgrade? Is the 16 bit boards unavailable? Is this for a mod as in making it newer and increasing reliability?

This is a huge upgrade in my opinion. Go from a CPU that could barely run the elevator and talk to IMS at the same time to running on the exact same hardware we’re installing today. Will the customer see a difference? Maybe. If they have intermittent problems the ability to run logfiles is a huge advantage.
