Looks like they just released another software update (3.18e) to fix this issue since the first update (3.18c) wasn’t sufficient.
The real question is does this issue exist in the US and they are only fixing it in Canada because that’s where they’ve been caught. It looks pretty easy to test on controllers with CEDES and a single DZ mag sensor - short the DZ signal high and see if it runs with the doors open.
