Been waiting a call back from Smartrise for the last 5 hours, have a V2 traction that the car gets to the floor and no door open signal. I changed the output, no difference. I can open and close the doors by forcing a command in the controller. The door open button does not work either. Open and close lints are good. Defaulted the software and did a new learn, and no difference ideas? Cars been running great, last trouble call was 3 years ago. Called back to see why no call back was just told I'm "still down the list aways"

Use the down arrow to scroll down until door data is displayed in the screen. See if you’re getting DO. Does the output on the SRU board turn on for the DO output?

They have a new text for support. It might help getting answers quicker on easier problems. Smartrise is hit or miss. Probably alot like us with trouble calls. Some days are slow and some days you're pulling your hair out. 469-746-4674. I usually will send a text then call in and get into the queue. What door operator are you dealing with?

witr00: No output at all, even tried a different output (shut off original and programed the new one, moved wire) The car never gives a DO signal unless I activate it thru the menu to manually open.

Montana: The car is equipped with a MOVFR with a retiring cam for swing hall doors. Operator is good. The DO output never goes high. I emailed a detailed description of what is going on , and got the typical response about the request being updated. But no call back. I guess I'll try texting on Monday AM , thanks for the number. Customer is going to love a bill for a full day of surfing the web awaiting a call back.

Does the cam drop and is there an input the controller is looking for from the lock like a zone or at floor contact? I’ve never seen this setup it I would expect it to have something like that.

Smartrise controllers have something call Gate Coupling and Hall Coupling. For full sliding doors, the DLM bypass (DPM) must make, then the gate switch (or cabin door interlock), then hall locks, then DCL. You can research this in the manual. I'm more familiar with MCE Motion and PTC/PHC controllers, which have a enable/disable option for retiring cam and also a special door close input called CDLC.

The cam is attached to the gal pully and picks with the car door movement. The car door should arrive at floor , open car door pick cam at same time and then sit open till it sees the hall door close contacts again. Car will not leave the floor until it sees both closed and locked contacts from the gal n interlock.

JJR :
The dpm is not used on this setup, coupling monitoring is also not used because of the manual swing hall doors.

are you getting door zone? What landing system? If you have the elevator level at the floor with the door open and put it on auto what happens? Do the doors close automatically?

I had one trapping people giving door lock faults. Turned out to be the hall lock board. Older version, do you have this?

Did changing SRUs do the trick? Almost sounds like dipA #3 is stuck on preventing doors from opening, or issue with main SRU.

There's a parameter "no demand door open" which is specifically for automatic car door and manual swing hall doors

Changed all 3 boards and it ran like a champ after, was tempted to do one at a time but had other calls to get to.

That's smartrise for you. Those boards have to be changed like diapers.
