If there's enough clearance to accommodate a hang-down drive rod from the belt, you could also leave the HPLIM in place and just decom the electronics. Then install either a GAL MONXT-OMNI (mod version) or a wittur AMD drive only. This can only be done if the controller accepts discrete signals. The GAL product might be your best bet because the belt is built into the operator and the only thing needed is resizing it. Retaining the skate and interlocks should be find as they are interchangeable with the NG locks, which are definitely not obsolete. The hang-down rod can be mounted onto either the door panel or the header.
