Unlike a simple USB-to-Serial or USB-to-CAN adapter, LonWorks uses a proprietary "Neuron" chip and a specific transceiver (TP/FT-10) that handles the entire communication protocol in hardware. You can't just "program" a standard microcontroller like an Arduino or ESP32 to mimic it because the silicon itself is licensed and specialized.
