We have a Gama D stuck in reset at our facility. We work on our own elevators because nobody will travel to work on our elevators and or don't want to come to our plant. We are allowed by state law to work on them as we are a industrial facility. I will tell you what i have done and see if any of you have any advise on how to move forward. We have removed tested and reinstalled all ribbon cables and plugs to make sure there in no corrosion issues on all our boards. We have reset power. The reset light comes on instantly with no flickering. We can run the car in firefighter mode and inspection mode. We have tested the 5V line on the Gama D board and it has 4.98V steady. We have the common wire for the lights on the door buttons for voltage and found +24V dc. The fifth floor buttons are always lit. We tested the hall way buttons for continuity and they do have continuity when the button is pressed and looses when un-pressed but the buttons stay lit. We cleaned the car level tape and magnetic sensor that shows where the car is located and replaced the plastic slider track as it was warn pretty far on one side. We tested what mode the car is in. it is going into mode 2 “auto” and not working and can switch to mode 3 “inspect” and dose function correctly in that mode. Relays do pull in and will hold but only on inspect and firefighter. Any advice on where to go from here? I have attached photos of our controller.
