These cars have one AC OL and one Dashpot OL in the loop. The DP was a little low so I filled it up to just cover the 3 tips. I tested it before and after with the settling test and it was 16 then 24 seconds. The loop is drawing more current (empty car down from the top) than the other car but I figured the low DP oil would fix it. It ran for about 2.5 hours then tripped again. The machine is full of oil, guess I'll check the brake electrically and mechanically tomorrow...... We just put new door operators and door locks on these cars and the customer can't understand why we're still having problems with these 30 something year old elevators..
