Have a Tac32T with the APS tape reader assembly. Intermittently will find the elevator stopping high at the bottom floor only. We reset the controller and the elevator will stop level without any other changes. A couple weeks later it'll mislevel again. Anyone run into this problem and find a more permanent fix?

Magnetic tape? Have you cleaned it of debris?is the guide for the tape worn out?

Yes, it is the magnet tape and we cleaned it, cleaned out the ELGO sensor and guides are in good shape but still coming out of level at that only floor. I was misinformed. It's floor 1 which is the actually the second landing. Another thing we noticed was that after it stops out of level at that floor, we cycle power and after power up the car will relevel right back to where it should. Do these units do automatic recalibrations for the floor positions? We moved the reference reflector for that floor so we'll see if that does anything.

There is no re-calibration. The selector is absolute. Moving the clip sensor will have no affect, it’s only looked at during a HW scan. What is the floor count and floor reference when it’s not level and how far is it?
