I have a DMC1 duplex 1991 no fire service.It had the original Dover Battery return that apparently never worked.We have had for a few years and then the inspector came in and said it had to work.We sold the client a reynolds emrg.return unit.Hooked it up and when we tested the units, only the no.1 car worked properly.We replaced the CLC board in no.2,the door board ,copied software from no.1 and checked and found no difference.
We get 5 volts to the plug on the CLC but the led does not light up.The car works perfect on normal power but as soon as we initiate emerg.return the car freezes Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheak your resistor d4 on the clc should be 3vdc on one side and 5vdc on the other. Your power supply should have 5.1vdc and the 12.5vdc. Cheak your plugs, broken wires in your power supply plug. Good luck....

It may be the r and r em unit. The clc does not like the square sine wave from the r and r. Had a similar problem with a plc controller. The car that is working may not always work. Call r and r. I think you may need to add a choke.
