Yesterday I had a swift gear-less car go out of service on the bottom landing. I pulled the DLB values and compared the TSV values and SD4 opened at 801fpm and TSV4 was set at 715fpm and LPE was 75. So that caused the shut down. I adjusted the LPE value and did some runs into the bottom landing and adjusted the TSV4 value. I was walking over to turn the car off Door disconnect and my VFC SMIC board went red and I got ##INIT. I entered my GET command and it was EEPROM errors. I had the parameters backed up on my laptop. I changed the SPU and uploaded the new parameters. For some reason I could not get the SPU link to communicate with any of my SMIC boards. All the SMIC boards were flashing green. GET command everything was ok. I did a confidence test and Everything was a GO except the analog load weighter. So I changed the SPU link ran thru the whole set up again same issue, on my wizard program all the SMI boards are staying green not flashing. The Status of the car reads XXXXXXXXX which I've never seen before. Im at a total loss unless the brand new SPU and SPU link are bad. Monday im gonna call CEC but has anyone ever ran into this before. My power supply voltages are good. These are the times I cuss technology.
