The key to slowdown is to drop the 3f relay, then the 2f relay, and finally the 1f relay sequentially.
Let's take the car call slow down as an example, keep in mind the hall call slow downs are similar.
1) for car call slowdowns you must first pick up the CC relay (area 076) through the uct or dct brush and and the appropriate car call that is registered.
When CC picks up it will in turn pick up the V relay (area 056) the first slow down relay, through the 1us,1ds selector brush, direction contacts ux, or dx, and the CC contact.
2) When V picks up, the CS relay, car stopping (area 062) will pickup through the V n/o contact and the 10A n/o contact which in turn will self hold through its own n/o CS contact.
3) This is where it gets a little tricky, remember we have to drop 3f first (area034), since V picked up which in turn picked up CS, the only way to drop 3f is to drop V. Remember V picked to start the slowdown sequence through the 1us, 1ds brush in (area 056), but as the car continues to move the 1us, 1ds brush will fall off the floor bar and V will drop out, which will open the the circuit to the 3f coil (area 034). 3f now drops out and car starts the slow down sequence.
4)Now we need to drop the 2f relay by picking up the 2v relay (area 044).
As the car continues to move the 2us, 2ds brush will hit floor bar and pick 2v relay through the V n/c contact, which is now out, and the CS n/o contact which is still up . 2v relay will self hold through the 3v n/o contact. 2v, which is now up will drop the 2f relay and the second slowdown will occur.
5) All we need to do now is drop the 1f relay (area 034).
To drop 1f we need to pick up the 3v relay (area 035). Since 2v is still picked up by its self holding contact, all we need to do is hit the 3us, 3ds brush on the floorbar to picck 3v which in turn drops 1f and the third slowdown occurs.
we now approach the leveling zone, and upon entering slow down to the leveling speeds 1sl, 2lr, and finally stop.
