I have a SE input that does go low at the operator as indicated buy VOM and the LED on the operator board.
Im assuming this goes directly into the CLC.

We have no door reversal. How would you correct?

Ive sold a Door Screen, but can I/O s be reassigned in the CLC with a FAST tool?

Just a thought, but try the EE terminals on the door op. board. It's been a while since I installed a screen on a DMC, but seem to remember having similar problems. You may have to jump out the SE terminals, to make it work correctly. Just going by my memory, which seems to be getting shorter by the day.

Yes, OEM SE and photo eyes. Photo eyes do work so Im planning to install a door screen to the EE input.

was curious if these inputs fail do you need to change EEPROM and reset all parameters?

No, you should not have to reset CLC adjustments if the screen fails. We replace the battery on CLC board annually. It's a CR2430 battery located behind the COP on the CLC board. It's cheap insurance, if power goes out and battery is dead. No big deal to put CLC and door adjustments back in. A bit more involved of you have a tape selector. Also, no need to replace EPROM if inputs fail.

Those batteries last a lot longer than you realize. As long as you have the parameters copied for easy setup, why bother?

Ya I hear ya.

But what do you do if the I/O fails? Reset parameters?

Actually the SE input goes to the door board, and the door board takes care of reopening the doors. The door board sends the SE signal to the CLC through the communication line, so the CLC can handle timers and stuck devices and such. When then the CLC doesn't want the doors to open, it sends an inhibit signal to the door board(like when running up and down).

So if your edge is working good, and not reopening, then you probably have a bad door board(once lost the gate input on a door board, pretty rare).

All the comm line traffic can be seen on the door status 0,1 screen on your user tool.
