I'll have to re-check what I sent , I typed so fast I may have not realized . I ment to say usually it's the gate wires that have broke on me . Thanks for the heads up .
Hi I guess it's only happen with an empty car - if so, take two plates from to counter weight out, put them on the car top, adjust the load weighing (gain and off set), and give it a go. Cheers
Had the same exact problem. Ended up being tight counterweight rails at the top and in need of some lube. Lubed rails and opened up DBG a little and Voila!
