I have a Westinghouse Schindler/OTIS Epoch II built in the late 80's- the issue is happening more frequently where the LED panel (floor marker) inside the cabin goes out during movement thus causing the car to get lost. It reaches the first floor with the LED out and wont open the door. I notice the MPT board upstairs has another floor as well. Any ideas?
What is a Westinghouse Schindler / Otis Epoch II? My idea for you is to call a certified conveyance licensed elevator company to fix this problem. Trust Me, This is not a system you want to try and fix with no elevator experience.
