Re: Is this a Westinghouse Duplex ERL controller?

Yeah I’m suspect myself, but he does say in his bio he’d like to work for (I think he said-) KONE one day. So all light flaming aside he’s got an interest in our trade and just maybe one day his dream will come true. Notice he hasn’t been back. Sometimes we just don’t know the motives behind some obscure post searching for answers and I concur on this that it’s not an IUEC mechanic, helper etc, but rather a visitor looking to scratch that itch. In any event, we’re careful what to divulge in an open forum, but to direct someone to find answers which puts them in a position to truly search to discover nothing technical, is ok. We’ve had those types here before like building owners looking for advice good or bad, or what can I do to get past my problem which we know the answer to that. (Usually they’ll get rebuffed and sent on their way).

Schindler 5500-3300 pebo

Hey guys.
Just wondering what is required to lift pebo (emergency brake release) under emergency situations? My company know about removing LEUT. Though sometimes it hasn’t worked with the battery supply being fine. One of them occasions I found a cooked sb relay on the brake board but other times we haven’t been able to work out what is missing.
Anyone with experience know what’s required and what can actually stop it, the information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

CPI - TMI Board
mohammed
06/06/26 05:06 AM
Hello everyone,
I am looking for technical information about the jumper settings on a TMI2 elevator controller board.
Does anyone have documentation, service manuals, schematics, or technical notes describing the function of each jumper on the TMI board?
I am particularly interested in:
- The purpose of each jumper. - Hardware configuration options controlled by the jumpers. - Whether any jumpers affect software configuration or available motor types. - Any jumper settings related to board initialization, EPROM configuration, or controller setup.
The reason for my question is that I am troubleshooting a system where a replacement TMI board does not behave exactly like the original one. After transferring the EPROM (27C1001) from the original board, parameter P40 on the CPI programmer only shows a limited motor selection and does not allow selection of DAF210.
Therefore, I am trying to determine whether the available motor types and controller configuration depend only on the EPROM contents or if some jumper settings on the TMI board also play a role.
Any documentation, board photos with jumper descriptions, manuals, or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Instagram and you tube huh? Sure enough. Well, got me on that one. I hope your interests and passions with “elevators” will lead you to actually join the pursuit of hundreds of young men and women who’d love to gain membership to one of the, if not thee best union trades in the construction service repair world…an IUEC member.

Sounds like you should call an actual elevator company. You are having an issue that is way out of your league. Stick to being a youtube music video "creator" and leave elevators to the professionals. Elevators can kill you, youtube can't.

We are seeing the 019-002. Power seems fine and CLC seems fine as well and we are monitoring the supply that seems just fine. Only happens in the Up direction. Power supply failing so quick we can't view on meter?

Westinghouse Microprocessor hydro 165

Does anyone by chance have any info on this type of controller? Have schematics onsite but they don't address the relay or processing board at all. Relays have no marking and the only about a third of the less are labeled. Car is on call back service only. Normally runs like a champ, but would like to know what I'm dealing with before it's an issue. If anyone would have a pic of a labeled relay or LED board that would be much appreciated.

What values for initial installation? Maybe you shouldn't go bragging on "substack" about how AI fixed your elevator. Everyone i know can't fn stand this ai data center crap. There is a certain adjustment process between normal and test modes in a certain time to permanently save adjustments made to the processor. I would call a reputable elevator company than solder components google recommend.

Concord 8000 half-fix

My Concord Series 8000 Pro Lift Elevator was failing to decelerate during descent. Troubleshooting indicated a fault in the 772048 (mod 772041) proportional control valve. A 470 mf radial electrolytic capacitor was swapped with Mouser # 647UPW1H471MHD, Mfr. #: UPW1H471MHD Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Radial 50volts 470uF AECQ200 A Sipex 805LCP integrated circuit was swapped with Mouser # 700MAX805LCPA Mfr. #: MAX805LCPA+ Microprocessor Supervisory Circuit A CSI 93C57P integrated circuit was swapped with Mouser # 57993AA56/P Mfr. #: 93AA56/P EEPROM 256x8128x16 1.8V The elevator now decelerates on descent, and operates normally … however … The control board no longer stores modifications to function parameters. It loads factory defaults. According to documentation, the values are correct for initial installation. I can live with it for the time being. But I’d like to fix it the right way. Who can tell me what happened? I’m guessing one or both IC is not an exact replacement.
