I just saw a Facebook post by Elevator World advertising Unitecs new hydraulic modernization package featuring the Alpha controller. Hopefully one day all the majors will offer technical support to the independents.

That would be cool. Out by us Schindler has starting talking about putting in ECI pixels for their hydros. They sent a bunch of guys to the factory to and everything

It's so common around here to see independent controllers and equipment installed by the majors. Shows a smart customer specing what they want. I just seen a 4 bank the other day of galaxy 4 controllers with HW machines that modded otis 311 controllers/machines that was done by TK. Even Otis knows they can't beat maxton and uses their valves. It's a nice change they're to see a little less proprietary stuff trying to lock in customers

If you guys are ripping out Otis 311/411 traction equipment and modernizing it with GALaxy 4s, I'd love to get a hold of some of the PCBs (RCB II OCSS, SOM, RS boards) so that we can reverse engineer and offer an even easier path for modernization, e.g. for Cross Assignment.

Please PM me if this is something you could help with!
