This is the first time ive had the pleasure of working on one of these. Here's what we've got on the HIT:

3620 no drive comm EI=0000
0033 cant remember exactly what this was. power up related i think
status 90
all four asterisks will occasionally come on usually after a reset. status 01 before the 3620 comes back

it wont run on hoistway access or on inspection after a 101 reset or clean power off with battery plug removed in the jamb.
I would like to access the drive but im unable to move the car to do so. 2 stop 3500lb car about 2 years old. I suppose the plan at this point is to move weights onto to the car and figure out how to manually pick the brake and drift the car down.

Does anyone know how to do this on these controllers? Or any suggestions? Thanks

Any update to the fix? We have the same issue

Ultimately the drive was bad. Drive fuses blown in the junction box below the drive as well. We had to load about 2500lb in the car and drift the car down using the emergency battery lowering system in the jamb (the batteries for this are also...you guessed it, in the hoistway. great idea). If your car is level with the top floor you will have to remove the door zone wire from the controller or the battery lowering will not work. In my case this was an orange 11? wire in the long terminal block in the middle of the controller. you will see the blue door zone light in the top of the jamb go out. Good luck
