Drive sheave
Here is a 20” drive sheave someone installed 5/8” ropes on.
The basement flooded.
Water shorted the hall button and called the car down.
Limit switches failed to shut the car down.
The ropes in the sheave grooves failed to slip traction.
Make good choices,
